Learning should never end!

“Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever”

-Mahatma Gandhi

Considering the pace at which knowledge increases and technology progresses, no matter what status or level you are in, it goes without saying that continuous learning is very important from cradle to grave. As we all are aware in the current age of high competition, the theory of natural selection seems to be significant here too and can be seen applied well at both the organizational as well as individual levels. This shows the importance of provide topnotch health care as well as education to all, at our institutions by tremendously and continuously improving our Knowledge, Skill and Attitude (KSA).

Keeping us, as individual or organization, relevant and at the top will require tremendous efforts in progressing knowledge and skill, at all levels, which can be achieved only by continuous learning. Thus any effort in learning is to be taken well and utilized.

As part of the efforts to progress the Learning and development of all Jubileeans, these pages are made to make it convenient to access all relevant L&D programs in our institutions. I wish all my Jubileeans continuous learning.

Message from the CEO

Learning is Enduring change in behavior !

I am extremely delighted to know that we are coming up with an online learning portal and I really appreciate our HR team for this. I had spent some time in the learning function of an organization and I can tell you that, it is continuous learning of employees that makes the true differentiator for any organization and health care is not an exception.

If we look at the health care industry as such, it is not the equipment that creates the uniqueness of the hospital, nor the facility.  They are all important, but the true differentiator is the people who deliver the health care.  Be it the Clinical, non clinical, diagnostic, nursing, the paramedical or the auxiliary services, it is the people who delivers these services that makes the true difference in the hospital.

Apart from updating the latest knowledge or skills required, the most critical aspect of health delivery is the right attitude of the people involved.  Competency development is complete only when required knowledge and skill are combined with the right attitude.  A true competency based organization is an organization which focuses on updating their people’s knowledge, skill and behavior.

I am also reminded of looking at the world wide accepted definition of the word ‘learning’, that is ‘Enduring change in behavior’ for which one needs to ramp up a process of learning.

I am sure whatever we have learned from the textbooks need to be continuously upgraded with due course of time. Considering the pace of change happening in the recent times, updation should be faster and in a wider area or else we would be displaced from the competition.

I am sure that ‘Update’ the online learning portal will enable continuous updation of all Jubileeans, irrespective of Doctors, Nurses, and all other category of employees.

I wish all the very best for creating a great learning organization in Jubilee.

      God bless, Thank you.
